Vegas!

Here are a few highlights from Vegas.  We went at the end of September this year for Kevan and Krista's wedding.  For those of you who don't know Kevan or Krista then have dated for 10 1/2 years so needless to say the wedding was a very happy occasion. Cameron and I met Kevan at work over 8 years ago and have been friends ever since.  The weather while we were there was 100 degrees and caused us to stay indoors to stay cool.  It was a very interesting city with lots of things to go.  Vegas never really ever closes or sleeps.  We would probably go back, but when it was cooler which would make it easier to do more of the tourist stuff.  The last picture is all the Ritz Camera people that attended the wedding spanning from Washington, Oregon and Chicago.

Our 1 year anniversary

A few pictures of us on our 1 year anniversary (August 22nd).  We went to downtown Seattle before we had dinner at Barking Frog.  Saw the gum wall by the market for the first time and we went to Game Works.  It was a nice relaxing day enjoying each others company.

It has been awhile

Man was it really back in April that I made the last post?  Well the summer came and went with plenty of activities to keep both Cameron and I busy.  Lets see if I can get everyone up to speed and share some pictures a long the way.
Here are some highlights of our 2010 summer.  The first picture is of all of us at Katie's boyfriend baseball game for Katie's 25th birthday.  I went to my first book reading all by myself.  Got my book signed by one of my favorite authors.  Cameron and I went on our first camping trip at Manchester State Park and it rained the whole time we were there, but we still a lot of fun with the whole Tondre/Smith clan.  Our friends Missy and Troy took us to an M's game and even though they lost it was a blast with those two.  We had game nights with Shani and Jeff when they lived down the street from us over the summer.  They just recently had their second daughter on September 24th and bought a house in Arlington.  We will greatly miss having them so close.  The picture of my family is at my moms birthday dinner in August.  We also shot Brian and Shannon's wedding this summer.  So happy for them both!  Cameron and I went to the Evergreen fair with his parents, sister Shalisa and her husband Ryan and their two girls.  We went down to Shelton where Ryan and Shalisa live and spent the night.  We learned quite a few new board games, played with the girls and went out on their boat.  Always a good time!
All in all I would say we had a great summer!  Now comes Christmas...

Tulip Fields

Cameron and I went to the Tulip Fields a couple weeks back.  We got lucky with clear skies that day.  Some good pictures came out of it, but definatly wouldn't go during the weekend again.  There was a lot of tourist so it made it hard to get the photos we wanted to.  But with my honey and camera in hand we still had a great day date!

Cameron's 30th Birthday

We are a little behind on posting on here but keep checking back this week and we will get you caught up in our adventures.

On March 11th Cameron had his 30th birthday.  I planned a day in Seattle for us and Cameron didn't know what was in store for him.  I planned for us to do the Seattle Underground Tour and little did he know his friends Alex and Barry were meeting us there.  When we finished the tour Cameron, Barry, Alex, my mom and myself all walked around Pikes Place Market.  I was keeping Cameron busy while Alex and Barry got a table at the Hard Rock Cafe.  Troy, Shani and her daughter met up with us to have dinner.  Great food with great friends... what could be better way to celibrate a birthday?  After our tummies were full Cameron, Barry, Alex, my mom and I went to Gameworks.  We ended the night playing video games like kids.  It was great!!!

Parts and Pieces and Eagles

Cameron and I went on an adventure today on our day off.  We went to take pictures of the eagles in Arlington.  My beloved F100 broke after the third picture and Cameron's D100 baby broke too... well on its way out and was deciding when it wanted to take pictures.  It is a sad day in the Tondre house.  Mine we should be able to get a replacement part for it and hopefully all will be well, but Cameron's could be an expensive repair.  Here is a few pictures that Cameron was able to take.  Mine were film so I will post later this week.  Thankfully Cameron brought an extra film body so I was able to snap a few.

Cameron is doing well in his bowling league he is doing with our friend Troy every Tuesday night.  I start a 6 week pottery class on February 24th.  Thank you to Martha, Bill and Cameron for getting me the classes for my birthday.
I AM SO EXCITED!!!

Yes we are alive!!!  The Christmas session came and went and we stayed very busy with family and work.  Thanksgiving was great and we got to see each sides of our family.  Needless to say we rolled ourselves home after we left the last house.  At Christmas time we spent a lot of time with Cameron's parents and even got to see my sister Katie when we went to my parents house to open presents.  On New Years we drove down to Ryan and Shalisa's house to have Christmas with them and Cameron's parents.  We had a lot of fun playing with the girls and learning new board games.

We are getting ready to take 4 days off for Kristin's birthday on the 21st of this month.  We don't have any plans as of yet.  Thinking that the skate party is out of the running though.  :o)

If you are on facebook Kristin just posted more wedding photos so check it out.  I will post more pictures on here soon.  Here is a sample.
